What I'm About

Lindsey Bowshier: Person

Here's all the stuff you aren't allowed to ask in an interview.

I've been married to my husband since 2013. My one-and-only child graduates from high school in June 2023, so we're nearly empty-nesters, except for our two pups: Rocco, a Brittany Spaniel and Foxy, a Chihuahua Pomeranian mix. I know, you want to see the dogs:

Rocco and Rat

We recently purchased a half-finished home in Fairfield, Idaho. I look forward to many weekend projects as we finish it over the next couple years.

I love to travel, especially for special occasions like birthdays, weddings, graduations, and concerts. Fun fact: I've seen the band Third Eye Blind 29 times!

I'm a Virgo. I don't know much about astrology or any characteristics of the other signs, but I do know that Virgos are perfect. I've sometimes seen this written as "perfectionists" but we all know what that means.

Oh, and I try to be funny.

My values

Integrity:

I do what I say I'm going to do (period).

Transparency:

I find everything is simpler when I'm open, honest, and clear in my intentions.

Humility:

I know enough to know I don't know everything. I'm always learning, growing and open to new ideas, information, and possibilities.

In addition to these values, I was also the champion for establishing Tribute Media's company values in 2016. As a result, Tribute Media's values are very much aligned with my personal values:

Enjoy Every Damn Minute | Family, Friends & Relationships at the heart of everything we do | Keep it Real | How Can I Help? | Always Be Learning.

Interests

Here are some other things I'm into that might help you decide if I'm the kind of person you want to work with.

Trades & Small Business

Why?

Student loans suck. College isn't for everyone. We'll always need someone to unclog our toilets/paint our houses/fix our cars. I love entrepreneurship and see trades as a direct path to business ownership.

I love helping blue-collar businesses through marketing strategy and business consultation. Ultimately, I'd love to help destigmatize these careers as "dead-end jobs" and help more young people find trades as an education/career option.

Writing

For Business & Pleasure

So many people are concerned about the use of AI in professional content creation, but I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE EXCITED. I'm not threatened by a tool that can't replace my creativity, but I'm PUMPED to use these tools for ideation, optimization, and organization!

Oh, and sometimes I write for fun. Throughout the years, I've contributed to online publications and, naturally, I have a few book ideas.

Drums

Not good at all

But I got a drum set for my birthday last year, and I've been taking lessons since October 2022. My husband has been working on the guitar for a little over a year. We take our mid-life crisis very seriously. People ask if we'll start a band. I guess you'll have to wait and see.
